Email provider status FAQs.

Is Gmail having email delivery issues right now?

Check the google.com row in the table above. Healthy means under 5% of mail bounced in the last 24 hours. Degraded means 5% to 10% bounced. Issues means 10% or more bounced, or 70% or more was deferred. Select the row to see Gmail hour by hour and its top failure reasons.

Is Outlook or Yahoo rejecting mail?

outlook.com free covers Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, and MSN. outlook.com paid covers Microsoft 365. yahoo.com includes AOL. Failures rising means the share of bounced and deferred mail went up in the second half of the window.

Why can a provider be up but still bounce mail?

This page tracks delivery, not whether a webmail site loads. Gmail can be online while it defers mail from a busy IP, rejects unauthenticated messages, or rate limits a new sender. Those show up here as bounces and deferrals.

Which mailbox providers are tracked?

Gmail and Googlemail, Yahoo and AOL, Outlook.com and Hotmail, Microsoft 365, iCloud, GMX and WEB.DE, Zoho Mail, and Proton Mail.

Where does this data come from?

Delivered, deferred, and bounced events indexed by Tatami, grouped by mailbox provider into hourly buckets over the last 24 hours. The report refreshes every hour. Providers with fewer than 100 events in the window are marked Low data.

What data is left out?

Raw counts, recipient addresses, sending domains, IP addresses, tenant names, and project names. Volume bars show each hour relative to the busiest hour, not message counts.

Is there an API?

Yes. Add .json to this page's URL for the same report as JSON, with rates and failure reason shares but no raw counts.

Can I see this for my own sending?

Yes. Point your ESP or MTA event webhook at Tatami. No DNS changes. You get bounces, deferrals, and failure reasons for your own IPs, domains, and tenants, with alerts in Slack, Discord, or email.
